My floral design journey began on accident. I had always loved planning parties for my friends, and decided event planning was where I wanted to be. As soon as I started designing my tablescapes for wedding inspiration - people really admired my florals and asked if I was a florist. I was stunned by all the attention I was getting but I decided to run with it! It didn't take long to realize how much more I enjoyed the originality associated with floral design along with the satisfaction that I was still involved in the wedding process. Three years later and I have learned so much, and had numerous clients tell me that my flowers made their special day even more memorable and that is the best feeling in the world.
Opening my shop has been a dream come true. Along with some of my closest friends, we created the flower shop vision I had always wanted. As someone who doesn't fit into a "box" creatively, I needed my shop to represent the chameleon soul that is embedded within me! That being said when you visit the shop you'll notice a dash of bohemian, a little mid century, a touch of modern, and a speck of good ole' rustic charm to bring everything full circle.
Anyone in this industry will tell you that a creative career is risky and challenging, but the reward of creating art through floral design is one of the best risks I've ever taken. The fact that I get to live out my passion everyday is something I am forever grateful for!
